Welcome to the YMWF's web site. The Young Muslim Women’s Forum was established to cater for the needs of the younger generation. Its main aim is to provide a venue for them to meet each other, discuss their problems and share ideas. Also to organize sports activities, gatherings, trips and outings. Alongside this, it would also help them understand the Islamic principles and teachings in a current and up to date manner. Creating a Web site for the Forum was seen as an excellent way to provide up to date information to all group members.
Al Khoei Foundation was founded by the late Imam Khoei. It is a charitable organization dealing mainly with education and religious affairs. It has also established schools and community centers in London, New York, Paris, Thailand, India, Pakistan and Iran. Furthermore, it gained general consultative status with the United Nations in 1997. The Social Affairs Committee was established within the Foundation in October 1997 to serve the Muslim community, especially family and Women’s needs in the United Kingdom. The Committee has started various community projects, which include the YMWF.
